Visitors' Comments FAQ

As of January 1, 2007, the 2005-2006 Visitors' Comments are read-only. It is not necessary to log in to read the comments. A new Visitors' Comments forum has been created. The new software does not have the login problems that some users experienced with the 2005-2006 Visitors' Comments. It will be necessary to re-register with the new software in order to post on the new Visitors' Comments. Be sure to enter a valid email address so that you can complete the registration process and so that you can be issued a new password should you lose yours. I will not use your email address for any other purpose. After registration, visit My Control Center to edit your settings such as password, signature (will appear automatically at the bottom of your posts), whether or not you want your email address visible to others, whether or not you want other users to know if you are logged in, whether you want the spell checker activated, set the displayed times to your time zone, what language you want the menues to be in (Spanglish is the default), how you want the messages to be listed, whether you want check boxes checked by default for email notification and adding you signature to your posts, and managing files that you have uploaded. There is also a private messaging feature you can use to communicate with other registered users. The spell checker comes into use when you select Preview. Misspelled words are underlined and suggestions pop up when you move your mouse over the words. Feel free to correct my translations on this page. Email tom@tomzap.com.
