This aqueduct is located on Garcia Vigil street in a neighborhood that is called Los Arcos within the city of Oaxaca. Dating from the 1700s, the aqueduct used to bring water from San Felipe del Agua, now a suburb of Oaxaca. Homes have been built behind the aqueduct which are entered through the archways. You can find the aqueduct by walking 8 blocks north from the northeast corner of the zócalo. |
