| Scuba Diving in Puerto Angel | ||||
| Our area is quite untouched with many different dive sites, each one offering something unique. Some examples: deep canyons and channels in rock formations, marine gardens, wreck diving and most notable is the large variety of fish types as well as turtles, manta rays, angel & nurse sharks, eels... Night dives are a party! Everyone is awake: tons of lobsters, parrot fish in suspension with every move phosphorescent... | ||||

| Snorkeling Tours |

|
A wonderful introduction to the bays around Puerto Angel. We visit four beaches (Boquilla, Estacahuite, La Mina, Tijera) and stop to snorkel in each, since they all have different reef formations and marine life. The duration of the tour is 4 hours. The price is $100 pesos per person with full snorkel equipment included. When going from one beach to another we stop to visit with the turtles and dolphins along the way! We make two trips a day from the dive shop, one leaving at 10:00 A.M. and in the afternoon at 2:30 P.M. In order for a tour to go out there is a required minimum of three persons per boat. We recommend the morning tour since it is the most likely time for seeing dolphins. | ||||
| Traditional Lancha Fishing |
| |||
| You must make a reservation a day prior so that we may prepare for an early departure the next morning. We leave the dive shop at 6:00 A.M. and return about 9:30 A.M. The cost is $400 pesos for the boat with a maximum of five persons per fishing trip. We provide the traditional fishing equipment for three people to fish at any one time. The fishing is all done by hand, a demonstration on the way out to the open ocean is provided! The types of fish to be caught, to name a few are: Yellow Fin Tuna, Bonito, Mahi Mahi (Dorado), Sail Fish, Rooster Fish, Barrilete de Diente, etc. Donīt forger your camera because the dolphins love to have their picture taken! | |||
| Excursion to Ventanilla estuary |
| |||
| Transportation is included from the dive shop to Playa Ventanilla which is approximately 30 minutes up the coast from Puerto Angel. This beautiful, open ocean area encloses the estuary, Laguna Ventanilla, with its crocodiles, iguanas, many different types of birds nesting and watching all of them while navigating the mangrove channels is a true pleasure! The cost for the whole tour including transportation to and from Ventanilla and the tour boat at the estuary is $150 pesos per person. Please make a reservation one day prior, a minimum of two persons is required to make the excursion. We leave the dive shop at 4:00 P.M. and return at approx. 7:00 P.M. to catch a beautiful sunset on the beach. | ||||
