We visited both Roca Blanca and Aqua Blanca, both about 30 kms north and south of Puerto Escondido, respectively. Both are easily doable by bus and were great excursions to pristine beaches with palapas serving super fresh sea food. At Roca Blanca, be sure to climb over the rocks on the shoreline to your left, facing the ocean, as there is another mile of empty beach to another vast set of rocks. You can read a more extensive description in the "our five weeks in Puerto" thread, I posted below. Have a great time.

Warrens not my favorite person. One day he was all cheery, as I used to have an add in his paper. After I took the add out of his paper, he never said another word to me. He has to be your friend, it's his 'business'. Those types abound here. It's that very normal fake niceness that comes so easy to certain people. When your not around, they are completely different.

And Neto, is one of my sons and my, best friends. So you can understand how an early drinker, running over my friend, pisses me off just a bit.
Just as I can see, how me talking about your buddy who runs your adds in his paper, pisses you off.

You guys forget, I can see right through people.

And hound, I didn't used to talk so much about people, I learned the technique here, and in my current situation, I can talk about people anyway I like. I actually am finding the fun in it. Puerto has taken me down a notch, i'm naturally a more positive person.

Well, I for one have had all good building experiences. I learned alot and had some of the best times of my life running around my job sites measuring this an that.
Mixing cement alongside your new friends the workers, ankle deep in cement is a must and I highly recommend it. Shovel that shizz as the workers say. It's tedious but very fun. Try digging a hole for a footing too. When you begin you will need many, so put one guy on each footing and each guy digs his own hole. I was gla to have an important phone call when I attempted to dig mine. So, halfway through, I got to go home and basically had another guy dig the rest for me. It was very difficult to say the least and the workers do have a technique to finish those holes really nice and clean whilst I was just digging like a skunk in a burrow. I gained respect for these guys that appear to know nothing. But they can dig nice square holes, and make good cement mix, and finish it all out very nicely for a bitching gringo who just sorta keeps them going in the right direction with his accurate measurements and interesting overall plan. Work with the guys if your going to build, you won't regret it.

P.S.
If the rejects of Puerto don't accept you, your obviously not a reject!

[Barra de Navidad - Melaque] Re: Brenda Martin

Last week the national edition of the Globe & Mail reported that while Brenda worked for Waage 3 transactions ($30,000, $15,000 & $13,000) went from his accounts to hers and back out to other people including his sister. The sister has a warrent out for her arrest but is still at large. No wonder she didn't want the public to know the info the Mexican procecutors had on her. I don't know about Mexico but in Canada all financial institutions including casinos must report any daily transactions of $10,000 or over by an individual to the feds. I'm willing to bet that is exactly what they based their case on. So maybe she was too drunk or too stupid to know what she was doing but ignorance of the law is not a valid defense.

Well..... You only evidence my point, gallettero.....!! Muy amable, cabron.... GRACIAS! But no, that's NOT frog-in-a-sock, bogan, THAT is what I believe the/you yanks simply refer to as "calling a spade a spade"..... as again, you so thoughtfully and amiably demonstrated the reason for.

But THANK YOU.... for your informed, insightful and truly "useful", neighborly post. My recommendation, "back to your galletas", mate. TA

So Webmaster, why don't you just DELETE this entire thread, and I as really have no interest in "hosting" this caliber of discussion, let along having my name/handle posted AS THE HOST to this rather juvenile (and FAR from benign) caliber of behavior. Yes PLEASE DELETE....!

Sincere Regards,
Ken Richards
