 | Cuastecomates is a small community tucked into a small, secluded bay located about a mile west of Melaque. It features a 300-yard long beach with gentle waves. There are a number of palapa restaurants along the beach and one very fine (at one time at least) hotel at the south end. This is the only hotel in town as far as I know. Snorkeling is possible at the south end near the hotel. The bay is a good diving location. |
