Thought this fish might be newsworthy. Caught by Cyrus Horine, 2/1/01 off Puerto Escondido aboard "Elizabeth" captained be Telly from Rincón Del Pacífico. Telly is about 5-foot 7-inches, but since he didn't have the fish weighed nor was a girth taken, the exact weight is unknown, but estimated to be 75 pounds. World's Record for the dorado is 87 pounds off Costa Rica.
